How to Install Zone Manager to Your Rust Server

In some cases, you may have thought of creating a zone for the new players where they can feel welcome to your Rust server and get familiar with the rules. But, with Rust being a game focused on PvP and Raids, this can prove to be a challenge.
Zone Manager is a uMod plugin that allows you to designate and administrate zones with special features, creating non-PVP areas to welcome your new players.
You can also apply other conditions (called flags) such as disabling the chat, buildings, fall damage, and much more! The tools are at your disposal and it’s up to you how to use them on your Rust server hosting server.
And, if you want it, you can even design users immune to flags in a determined zone
If done correctly, this plugin should now be installed in your Rust server!
First, make sure to have the permissions assigned (zonemanager.zone).
That’s it, as simple as that!
In the following example, we’re going to make a ‘spawn’ zone, put the following command in the chat.
– /zone id “ spawn ” radius 14 nobuild true undestr true safezone true
You can see the uMod page of the plugin for further information
Make sure to set the right permissions and check the plugin has been correctly installed. You can check all our Rust tutorials here. Still having problems? Feel free to contact our support team.
